After watching Andrew Price’s tutorial on making fibre optics, I decided to try it for myself, and gave it my own twist. A smaller version of this image was featured as the header image on Blendernation.com on March 30, 2014. This full image was rendered in Cycles at 7500 samples, at 1440p resolution and composited in Blender.
