Studying the face, practicing with mechanical pencil (this is an old photo from 2006)
Faramir, played by David Wenham, was one of my favourite characters from the book The Lord of the Rings, and he was also not produced by Sideshow Weta as a bust so I used this sketch (and another) to practice before attempting an incomplete 3D physical medium bust sculpt.
