I started the process of creating my own character, since the concept art until the final render, and I just finished modelling it! Next step will be applying textures.
Watching the “Introduction to Character Modeling” I learned to create the mesh using Skin modifier and I liked this way of creating the base mesh, but more often than not, I would end up with a messed up geometry. But recently I got the Contours Retopology Tool and it helped me a lot in fixing the geometry.
