This is a WordPress site main image I did for a class project. Since it's for school, I wanted to capture my Bachelor's, intermediate, and Master's education institutions.
Blender 2.63 for all modeling, rendered in Cycles. After Effects for all compositing work, Photoshop for the gradient background. Video Copilot Optical Flares, Trapcode Form, Red Giant Colorista Free and Quick Looks Free were all used in AE for the final look.
