My entry for the Concept Cookie Halloween
This is my little lady, she seems a bit angry but she is just playing with the humans, trying her amazing powers: she can control bats and the blood that she drinks gives her more powers, so she loves killing humans.
“– My brother is always bothering me… But tonight I am alone!!! – A crazy laugh – so I have been playing with my… died friends” But that night she is happy. She usually is really stubborn so she never pays attention to what her big brother orders her.
Even if she drinks blood and the blood is red, she hates the colour red, actually. As she loves wearing blue and green clothes, of course, she can’t go out without her died smiling face on her t-shirt, earring and necklace. Also, she doesn’t forget that she is a kid and her clothes show it: they are childlike. Funny colours and wearing jeans with a skirt is her favorite outfit. So she says that if she mixes red and green while she is playing (of course, the red comes from blood) everything gets more exciting.
But, talking about the composition:
I have tried to show the personality of the young vampire. Just I thought that if put the focus of light in the floor it would boost the tempered personality of the vampire, and making her more sinister. About the colors, as I said about the colors of the clothes, I used a green range for the outfit for getting a huge contrast with the red background because they are complementary.
(I have had upload again the illustration because i had to fix some troubles that i found, sorry :) )
