I did this for the Character Design Challenge in November..but failed hard, because I was not patient enough to wait and elaborate it a little bit (a lot) more. So first I really liked my idea and worked on it until late night, but then I made the mistake and submitted it before sleeping a night over it. After I posted the drawing, left the room for a few minutes, came back and looked at it again, I hated it- Everything seemed terrible off. The colors, the pose... I did too much and it looked forced. I really regret that I couldn't wait and do a better design and had to look at all the other awesome designs that got in during the month. stooopid.
And the moral of this story... patience is an important thing. :D
