This was my entry on Blender Guru video game competition. A Fallout 3 fanart. Post apocalyptic still-life.
I learned a lot from this:
-Using Blender internal for glass material (I simply don't have computing power to use cycles for images like this one)
-Figured out what IOR values are.
-Modelling bottles, mini nuke, caps, bullets and Mister Handy and his saw.
-Texturing
-Using normal / bump map
-Using lights
-Using composite nodes for depth of field, camera effects etc.
(I done everything in Blender from scratch, including the dirty atmosphere, the camera effect and even the text at the corner)
