For this piece, I wanted to do something that I had never seen before for Mother Nature. Most pieces I have seen focus on trees, flowers, etc. I decided to think about other forces of nature in our environment and chose volcanoes. In this painting Mother Nature is the volcano herself, with a village perched on her legs and her hair posing as the smoke and ash.
