Mother Nature is an entity that governs all that is Life, and also all that is Death. The Seed of Yggdrassil is the source of all Life and is possessed by Mother Nature. She governs the cycle of Life and Death with her own withered hands: she is alive, but equally dead, a price paid to contain and control the Seed's powers that are too powerful for a human. Her own hands and the Seed are symbolic of the cycle of Life and Death as one cannot be without the other.

This was made purely on Photoshop CS6 in about a timespan of solid 6-7 hours? Originally the concept was for her to be a "warrior", hence, a protector of Nature, but I really liked the idea of her possessing an orb with the Seed of Yggdrassil in it.
