I chose a bit more mature cupid as basis (about 10 years old), this version also allows me to draw him skinnier.
I imaged him as an fallen angel, just like Lucifer. He was banned from heaven, which resulted in an young angel, that felt like a unwanted and unloved child. His lonely heart poisons him from within and he tries to get rid of these sad feelings by shooting them, as dark arrows, on other people.
