Edit: I decided to reupload my entry, with better dimensions. I also changed his hair because I found the contrast was too big. I included the original white hair + bald versions. TY everyone who liked the previous image before I deleted it :-)

First contest for me as well.
I spent more than 4 (10+ hour) days on it, and used over 90 layers. That’s 2 new records for me, right there.
While working on this illustration / concept, I got inspired by Leraye and Zepar, two fallen angels who were banished from Heaven (Leraye is an archer and Zepar a seducer). They are not related as far as I know in any religious beliefs, but I pictured this as their twisted and evil child – nicknamed Dark Cupid due to his heritage.
I used many different tips & tricks learned from ConceptCookie tutorials, including the “Golden” tutorials.
