Saw Tim's painted version and felt silly that I didn't think it needed to be completed! This is the finished product, or as finished as its going to get so that I can start the next exercise :). This is basically all of my skills in digital art summed up - and I feel like I need a lot of work... challenge accepted. I found it especially hard to go from typical Anime cartooning to a more painted style. As you can tell, I hardly knew where to start with the outdoors scene and took a lot of shortcuts. Studied a ton of color theory on cool shadows and value vs color. Liam Neeson was painted from reference (first time doing painted face)
