Here is some candy canes I made. The modeling was real easy and I did it with a curve. It took some time to figure out how to uv unwrap to not get seams. I ended up projecting from view from the side and that worked.
I'm thinking of putting them up on BlendSwap. Do I pack the images into the blend so they retain the textures? What is the best way to share the gimpfile? Dropbox? I made some mask so that changing the color of the strips is as easy as doing a bucket fill and then adding the mask.
