This was a though but very interesting exercise!
I´ve found that it easier to work on smooth and matte surfaces rather than shiny ones. Both the blackberry and the strawberry have proven to be challenging, specially the last one (so...many...tiny dots...).
In order to achieve good results you must not mimic the reference photo but understand how the surfaces of the berries are shaped and how the light interacts with them.
I´ve would also liked to use another source of light but, without reference photos, i think the results would have been messy.
