I did this in Blender. Modeled the helmet and face mask in a couple of hours. Then checked out a few cycles car paint tutorials on you tube for the materials in cycles. Created the sticker in Illustrator. Then rendered it all internally. I think it turned out pretty decent. The helmet could use some tweeking in a couple places though.
