Done with Cycles + Compositor. Rendered at 2k samples, render time was about 4 hours, CPU only due to the OSL shader i've writte to smooth the end of the lightshaft at the open hatch.
I made this for the Blender Guru competition "What really happened". My choice to make a nighttime scene as a Blender beginner was not very clever. I had a lot of trouble to render a noise-free image. Need to improve Blender skills. Hope you like it anyway :)
