I've been working on this since viewing Kent's caricature tutorial last week. At the moment it's a basic sculpt with a separate re-topped mesh for the hair. The best piece of advice I got from Kent's video was to concentrate on the major shapes and proportions before getting involved in the minutiae. I can't say I followed it to the letter but it's a learning process.
I'm heading for a full re-top and animation as well as a rework of the hair.
BTW, if anyone can name the individual I've tried to capture, please do. I think it's a fair likeness but I've been staring at his ugly mug for too long :D
