My 2 attempts at the Yin-Yang chapter of the Sessions:MACRO course. Attempt 1 resulted in a pencil material that received praise for the colour/wood transitions. Whilst I don't believe I achieved this effect in V2, there were still many things I learned after repeating the chapter. For example, not everything needs to be built to real-world scale to achieve photo-realism. In fact, the small scale of this pencil (combined with a very delicate RGB mask) created its own challenges (particularly for the displacement levels).
