Freshly Baked 117 | Inspiration is a buffet, and I overfilled my plate 🤮
Aug 25th 2025
Happy Friday!
This week I had a flood of ideas: new projects, experiments, and things I wanted to try. On the surface, it felt like momentum.
But by the end of the week, I realized… I hadn’t actually gotten much done... I think... 🤔 Did I really move the needle forward on the stuff that will have the most significant impact?
Could my mistake have been confusing inspiration for progress?
Too many ideas can leave you feeling busy without making progress. It’s like piling your plate high at a buffet; you’re excited in the moment, but afterward, you’re just scattered and overstuffed. 🤮
So next week I’m trying something different. I wrote down all the ideas buzzing in my head… and circled just one to focus on. One thing to take from “inspired thought” to “actual progress.”
Perhaps the real wins don’t come from collecting more ideas; they come from choosing which one deserves your time and being able to add depth to it.Â
🎙️ Heads up - Are you curious how CG Cookie got started, how that evolved into Superhive, Orange Turbine and how this Autotroph thing got started? If you're curious what matters to us, you'll enjoy our origin story.
