The Cookie crew are no strangers to working remotely. For the past 10 years, our small team operates with people across various cities around the globe, with the full-time crew each living in a different state here in America. Working remote has incredible benefits; lifestyle freedom, increased autonomy and the ability to take your kids to the doctor without taking vacation time.
With every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction.
The challenges are abound with remote work, though most of it revolves around the human element. Communication. In this live stream I will share two main lessons CG Cookie has learned and share some stories of our remote life and how we work. Talk a little bit about the technology we embrace and the ones we steer away from.
Depending on the day, will even have some Cookie Crew guests come on to answer questions and share their story.
LOL
I saw Wes smile. He must have seen JJulian B's comment.

You guys have an office or are you all remote? How long did you guys work on this part time before it became a full-time gig?
QUESTION: I'm actually wanting to launch an online web community/pet site, at current I'll be doing the entire thing - art, coding, pretty much everything - entirely solo. Having no help at all is likely the most intimidating thing about it right now. Any advice, like maybe on how to find help?
Since the programs (Blender, Unity..) are also in english I would always prefer and recommend to learn in english.
