COMMENT: Actually, there are large objects made in one piece. The hull of private boats are made in one piece up to a length of 60 feet plus ... but of course the also have construction details, and they are made of GFK, which wouldn't hold up in a mars environment.

the lack of details is sunbject to my modelling skills at the time i modelled it...i am more capable now and i can try to do some details. dont have the blend file anymore though...
