    @samvolcano really good question, for this project, for most maps 8 bit png will be fine, for normal maps you'll want to use 16 bit float exrs or 16 bit png.

    If you use 16 bit pngs for normal, you'll also want to enable cubic interpolation.

    well a cavity map is an ambient occlusion map. I'm just not sure why we need to bake this separately.
