In honor of the spookiest month, each week in October I'm going to be hopping on a stream to sculpt a goblin character with Blender. The little guy was designed by our very own Mr. Tim Von Rueden!
At this point, we've rounding second base on this sculpture. We need to finish roughing-in any spots we've missed, like the leather pouch backpack thing and the ropey bits. And I'd like to start pass 3 where we ramp up the details.
Come hang out. Learn some character modeling tricks-o-the-trade. Bring your questions about Blender, modeling, sculpting, CGC, art, movies, music - whatever - and let's have some Halloween-themed fun.

"Cliches are so true" ... hey, that's a true cliche! lol
I don't think speed is that important, as long as you know what you are doing, and have a good workflow. Slow and steady wins the race.
*Heh dynamic topology, not adaptive subdiv. Doh
Ah right
Hey John, he probably didn't see it. Remesh is great for simple models, but on super high res models it's easier to just use adaptive subdivision in the first place.
Took me almost 2 months to complete the Robot course, so I could only imagine.
Hey why skip my question? Don't like talking about remesh?
I always watch these tutorials and feel so slow in comparison in my own workflow. I know you have mentioned rehearsal where you figure out some of the model end. Just curious, how long today’s video run take on a first run for you?
Yeah
