Oh the weather outside is frightful... 🔥
It's December and cold in the US. Perfect weather for a warm fire! And thanks to a recent(ish) tweet, I've been inspired to create procedural fire:
No particles or smoke simulation - only about 2 dozen shader nodes. In this stream we will recreate the material from scratch and tweak it to look like a candle flame and a raging fire.
I swear I saw motion blue there in the particles
It's like a 200 dollar speed ticket for the particles
rationalrats yep you said it. I'm not new but I still feel new
Nah rita, I just messed a little with that slogan from the PURGE
Tobles, you sounds like a Catholic.
also, depends...
if I were just jumping in at this point, i wouldn't feel too good/ confident about it... like, if I started the subscription yesterday and this was my introduction to it...
I agree that talking through the mistakes is great, but I'm such a newb I get lost in trying to get it right
It's absolutly fine. Blessed be Kent, our New Rendering Father
STATEMENT: The moments I have learned the most in a tutorial is when I see the teacher fumbling around finding something, the troubleshooting is great for seeing new stuff
it is ok to fail
